March 11 in Kazakhstan (Almaty) will host a conference “Development of instruments of Islamic finance in the CIS”, which aims to become one of the first events on the development of Islamic finance in the region.
IslamNews Agency acts as a media partner of the event, which will be held at the annual “the Kazakhstan Financial Forum” held in 2006 and is one of the biggest events in Kazakhstan financial market. The forum was expected to attend at least 200 people – representatives of Kazakhstan’s financial institutions, corporations, government bodies. The conference is supported by RFCA and the Association of Financiers of Kazakhstan.

Traditionally, the conference will award annual prizes Investfunds AWARDS and Cbonds AWARDS, which are annually nominated leaders of Kazakhstan’s financial market.
The conference invited representatives from financial institutions in Kazakhstan, Russia, CIS, Middle East and Asia, specializing in Islamic finance, representatives of international agencies, development of Islamic finance, public authorities in Kazakhstan, Russia and CIS countries.
