Vice President Joe Biden, who is in Israel for the “proximity talks” between Israelis and Palestinians reaffirmed Washington’s commitment to Israel’s security. Biden said the United States refers to Israel’s security problems, as his own.
Biden, who is now in the four-day tour of the Middle East, expressed optimism about the resumption of Palestinian-Israeli negotiations. “I hope that the proximity talks will be the means by which we can begin to overcome the distrust, which was built in the last few years,” – “Biden said.
American vice-president, who met with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu of Israel, to arrive in the West Bank on Wednesday to hold talks with leaders of the Palestinian Authority.
