NATO calls on OIC to cooperate | World | News |

Istanbul met the NATO Secretary General Anders Fogh Rasmussen and the OIC (Organization of Islamic Conference) Ekmaleddina Ihsanoglu.
During the talks, Rasmussen called on the OIC to strengthen its contacts with NATO to solve common problems. ” He said that for its part, the Alliance intends to extend the connection with the OIC, said 1news.az referring to the CNN-Turk.
In turn Ekmaleddin Ihsanoglu, OIC Secretary General also noted the importance of such contacts.
Note to approve the current Secretary General Anders Fogh Rasmunssena , NATO had a very long time to persuade Ankara.
