Head of the Federal Service for Supervision of Health and Social Development Nikolai Yurhel dismissed from his post on the orders of Prime Minister Vladimir Putin, the press service of the Government of Russia.
“Nicholas Yurhel dismissed due to violation of the law on state civil service, namely, they occupied a public position on the bill on the treatment of drugs and admitted them to the relevant public statements,” – said in a statement, the press service, quoted by RIA Novosti.
A bill passed in first reading the State Duma, a principally new requirements for safety and quality of medicines, introduces the mechanism of state regulation of prices for medicines, equalizes the rights of domestic and foreign pharmaceutical manufacturers.
On the eve of Prime Minister Vladimir Putin at a meeting with the leadership of United Russia, had requested to build on the pace of work on this project.
The Prime Minister clearly stated: “I would like to draw your attention that MHSD its position is defined, it is supported by the Government and any deviation from this position will be stopped, including the adoption of personnel action,” – sobschili’s press service.
