Somalia shuts embassy in Europe | News | News |

Transitional Government of Somalia will close 3 out of 5 of its embassies in Europe due to the instability and lack of funding – said the Air Force, Minister of Foreign Affairs of that country.
Need Government hopes that the “friendly countries” would help him with money, – said Ali Ahmed Jama Dzhengeli. At present, formed a year ago with the help of the UN coalition government controls only a few neighborhoods in Mogadishu.
Since 1991, Somalia does not stop a civil war. Official government is under attack every day, the mujahideen of the organization “Al-Shabbab, who control most of southern and central regions of the country.
Most likely will be closed on Somalia Embassy in Paris, Berlin and Mission of Somalia to the UN in Geneva. The closure of diplomatic missions could further isolate the transitional government, whose survival depends on the international community.
Last year, Somalia has been shut down several embassies abroad, including in London and Washington.

According to the Minister, Embassy in Brussels and Rome will remain open, but their staff will be reduced.
