First International Conference of Women Scientists of the Islamic world took place last week in the Ministry of Science of Iran. In the two-day conference was attended by representatives of 37 Islamic countries.

Wife Iranian President Azamossadat Farah, Minister of Science and Iran were made during the opening ceremony of the event.

Drawing attention to the place of women in science and the role of women in today’s rapidly developing world, Farah said that science and the woman are the “cornerstones” of the universe.

According to her, to understand the meaning of the universe need to pursue knowledge. The woman she called “a source of love, the embodiment of beauty and love of God.

The meeting discussed such topics as women’s education, reducing illiteracy and the problem of poverty among women.

The Conference was organized by the Ministry of Science, with the support of the Islamic Organization for Education, Culture and Education, said “Islam is for all”.
