Sales at General Motors I quarter grew by 3%
April 19, 2007 – 10:29 pmAmerican automobile company General Motors Corp. (GM) on Thursday reported that its sales worldwide in the I quarter of this year increased by 3% to 2.3 million vehicles. In I quarter of last year the company sold 2.2 million vehicles.
share of the global market in the last quarter fell from 13.1% to 13%. Global sales of cars under the brand name Chevrolette increased by 4% and exceeded 1 million units. Sales companies outside the U.S. accounted for 60% of all sales of General Motors in I quarter.
