Terrorists wanted to sell the plate to Auschwitz to fight Islam –

plate bearing the inscription «Arbeit Macht Frei», hanging on the gates of Auschwitz, was kidnapped on the order of the Swedish neo-Nazi group, wrote an authoritative edition of the «Aftonbladet».
How told reporters in itself a source group, the symbol of Auschwitz, they had intended to rescue about a million dollars and spend those funds for organizing a series of terrorist attacks.
The official said that neo-Nazis planned to organize in 2010 number of attacks on the leadership of Sweden, in particular, the Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, as well as an attack on members of parliament – they wanted to get to the podium to the public and deputies to throw out bombs.

A few days later the Polish police detained the attackers, and found the plate, sawn into three parts. Then the chief of police in Krakow Andrzej Rokita said that the theft was not committed for political reasons, and five of the detainees were not included in the neo-Nazi organization. In the Polish media have suggested that the slogan was kidnapped by the order of the unknown “madman” collector.
