Saudi Arabia unveiled its losses on the border with Yemen –

during a military operation against the Yemeni “group Husi” the armed forces of Saudi Arabia lost killed at least 73 people, hundreds more soldiers were wounded, reports Al-Jazeera.
This data is read out on local television Deputy Defense Minister Prince Khaled bin Sultan. He said that 12 people from missing, probably killed, but their bodies have not yet been found. This information became the first official announcement of the losses in battles with insurgents since the conflict began.
The Prince also said that the military operation against the Yemeni militants, which began in November 2009, is nearing completion.
Military of Saudi Arabia entered into a struggle with the Yemeni rebels after the Nov. 3 militias crossed the border and captured the Jabal al-Dukhan. In response, the Saudi air force bombed a rebel positions in the district were brought army units.
In the civil war in northern Yemen, which began in 2004, the official Riyadh has always supported the government of the country. The militants have repeatedly accused Saudi Arabia of interfering in the internal conflict in Yemen.
