Israeli Government Office for Relations with the Russian-speaking community “Nativ” arranged in Herzliya – within the walls of a private university – a forum for so-called “young leaders of the Jewish Diaspora from Ukraine, Russia and the United States.
All the participants of this forum, according to IzRus, very important figures in their communities, people with high levels of influence and education: journalists, PR people, lawyers, teachers aged 24 to 35. They have been carefully selected from among the many hundreds of applicants to participate in this project. Emphasis was placed on each candidate’s personal involvement in the processes associated with the Zionist entity’s relationship with these countries, as well as readiness to assume an active role in the development of pro-Israel lobby.
The forum involved well-known Zionist politicians: Foreign Minister Avigdor Lieberman, Minister of Propaganda and the Diaspora, Yuli Edelstein, chairman of the Jewish Agency, Natan Sharansky, an influential lobbyist for Russian-language Boris Red and other . During the seminar, forum participants discussed the challenges posed by Israel to the Diaspora communities. Objective – to define the current trends in attitudes toward Israel and the search for new channels of influence of the Jewish community.
Note that the “Nativ” more than once unabashedly stated that its main task to create a favorable atmosphere diaspora lobbying for the continuation of the Israeli aggressive policies. The main center of interest is – first of all, politicians and officials of Russia, Ukraine, United States and other countries where there is a “Russian-speaking Jewish” community.
