On April 17 in Moscow «President Hotel» The Federation of migrants Russia (LDF) is to hold I International Forum Eurasian «Migration, security and cooperation». The event is supported by the Office of Presidential Administration on domestic policy. In an interview with the head of FMR IslamNews Madzhumder Muhammad Amin told about the forthcoming event.

– What questions will raise at the forum?

– Home Theme of the event: the world, including Russia, did not prevent migration. And we must think how to make it more secure for the country. In addition to discussing this issue at two meetings, roundtables, which will be held after the plenary part, we will consider the following topics: «The role of civil institutions in regulating the migration process» and «Impact of migration flows on the security of the Eurasian space». And, of course, the topic of the crisis will be one of the main forum.

– your organization, there are about two years. What is done during this time, how you helped people who came to Russia from various countries?

– Virtually every day I have to deal with people encountered in the motivated by racism – in such situations usually come from abroad. For foreign students, businessmen, skinheads attacked. Representatives of neighboring countries discriminate against police officers. In addressing these issues we have had substantial government support and leadership of the state. With regard to the police, there is a high level of corruption.

In the two years of our federation was able to join representatives of more than 40 countries. We have been able to create a platform where addressed the rights and freedoms of migrants, to promote socio-cultural and legal adaptation. Along with the education department of the Moscow Government, we opened a center to study the adaptation of Russian language, culture and traditions. We produce the magazine «Migration-007», a children’s magazine «Children’s Dream». Established contacts with the Presidential Administration, the State Duma, Federation Council, in collaboration with the Public Chamber. The leadership of the country to support us in solving the problems of migrants.
